The awards are organized in collaboration with the StartUp Europe Awards (SEUA), an open innovation initiative of the European Commission implemented by the Finnova Foundation, which promotes entrepreneurship, innovation and the generation of partnerships that help to meet the SDGs of the United Nations and the actions of the European Green Pact. In this second edition, the SEUA-Mindtech Awards are sponsored by the companies Servitalent, Urovesa, Star Electrónica, CTAG, Tecnalia and Lidera Knowledge.

The jury of the awards is formed by the entities which promote the fair and relevant institutions in the business and innovation fields: Asime, Finnova, Igape, Gain, Concello de Vigo, Deputación de Pontevedra, Icex, Ifevi, CZFV and Abanca.

The jury stated in the awards decision that “these awards are an excellent example of the great potential of the metal industry and its associated technologies at international level, precisely the focus of Mindtech, which is consolidated as a showcase to display the enormous added value of our industry in the current context of economic recovery post-covid19”. “Undoubtedly, the awarded companies will serve as inspiration as success stories for other companies in the sector and will highlight the competitiveness of this industry to face the challenges of the future linked to digitization, mobility, energy transition, corporate social responsibility or innovation.”
