What is the added value of your activity as a company compared to others?
Senseye Predictive Maintenance solution works with any type of sensors, any type of data, and any type of machine. It requires very minimum effort, and it can be deployed at scale in a very short time, from a few numbers of assets to +1,000 assets in less than one year. It’s the preferred solution of most main hardware and integrator solution companies, as an example Senseye Predictive Maintenance technology is embedded into both Schneider Ecostruxure and Siemens offers.
You have been awarded in the Industry 4.0 category of the SEUA – Mindtech Awards for your scalable predictive maintenance solution. What does this award mean to you?
It was a real honour to win the SEUA-Mindetch Awards and be recognized as a leading solution for scalable predictive maintenance. The Metals industry is one of our main markets and we are continuously working with key players on many successful business cases.
How do you think the implementation of AI is affecting industrial environments, do you think it is a necessary step that should be taken by all industries or is it only usable in the most cutting-edge companies?
We are only at the beginning of the manufacturing 4.0 journey, and whereas we see an acceleration in AI technology adoption, successful industrial companies will be those which could leverage on the technology. At Senseye, our vision is to allow any type of organisation to quickly move from a pilot project to a deployment at scale, covering hundred or thousand machines.
We provide an easy-to-use solution with full methodology allowing non condition monitoring specialist to deploy AI predictive maintenance without data scientist skill. Whatever your company situation is, sooner or later you will be faced with AI predictive maintenance, either by deploying a solution internally or by acting on predictive maintenance notifications from your machine manufacturer. Our solution is used by both, industrial companies, and OEM, and we help both to embed Senseye technology into their own maintenance strategy program.
With rising raw material costs, the global supply bottleneck and a landscape full of uncertainties, how have you handled the development of your work?
The rising raw material costs is a real challenge for any industrial company and will have an immediate and long-term impact on the necessity to reduce consumption on the production lines. But on a more global basis, the rising of energy cost and the necessity to reduce carbon footprint demonstrate the importance to increase the asset lifetime while reducing production downtime and maintenance cost. AI Predictive maintenance solution is a tremendous accelerator to achieve these objectives.
