17 de January de 2025

For more than 80 years, Rösler Oberflächentechnik GmbH has been active in the surface treatment sector. The company offers a wide range of equipment, consumables and services for mass finishing and shot blasting in various industries. The approximately 15,000 types of abrasives and chemical compounds, which are developed in-house, cover the most demanding customer requirements.

Under the brand name AM Solutions, it provides numerous equipment and service solutions in the field of additive manufacturing and 3D printing. In addition, the Rösler Academy, its training centre in Germany, offers practical seminars on mass finishing, shot blasting and additive manufacturing.

The Rösler Group has a global network of 15 locations and approximately 150 sales agents. Among them is Rösler International GmbH & Co. KG, its branch in Spain, located in the town of Rubí, near Barcelona. At this location, its team of sales engineers advises and proposes the best technical solution for any challenge faced by its customers, while the after-sales team is responsible for maintaining the equipment in optimum condition or upgrading it if it has already completed a long service life.

Why did you decide to go for Mindtech in its fourth edition in 2025?

In the northwest area of the peninsula there are powerful companies that can benefit from our experience and we would like to have a closer contact. This is a way of showing our interest in Galicia and the northern part of Portugal.

What is the added value for your company to participate in this fair?

Our 80 years of experience in the surface treatment sector applied in the most varied industries, such as automotive, shipbuilding, aeronautics, forging, foundry, etc., as well as our capacity to develop in-house the machinery and the necessary consumables, allow us to propose the optimum solution to the customer’s needs, whether this solution is a simple, independent machine or automated lines with interconnected machines.

What will you present at Mindtech 2025?

We have not yet made a final decision and are currently considering our successful S1, a machine for post-processing 3D parts, a tapestry blasting machine and/or a circular vibrator.

What do you think is the differential value of the metallurgical industry and its associated technologies in the Iberian Pole in particular?

It is a very interesting and dynamic area, where you can find a variety of companies linked to the automotive industry, component manufacturing, shipyards, wind turbine reconditioning, etc.

What challenges do you see facing the industry today?

Undoubtedly, the situation facing the automotive industry at the moment. The transition from combustion to electric vehicles is proving to be more complex than expected. The situation in Europe is not making it easy either. Traditional export markets are suffering a major slowdown that is affecting our industry.

What is needed to meet these challenges and maintain the industry’s competitiveness?

Flexibility to adapt to demand, development capacity to differentiate, automation to increase productivity, and well-qualified and, not least, motivated and committed staff.
