Mindtech (Metal Industry and Technologies International Trade Fair) has closed its second edition with figures that catapult the sector towards the post-covid-19 recovery and consolidate the fair as the hub of industrial business in the Iberian Pole.

For three days, Mindtech brought together more than 160 companies, 10 workshops and worskhops, more than 60 national and international speakers and more than 200 bilateral B2B meetings, a hub of knowledge, innovation and knowledge exchange that attracted more than 15,500 visitors.

The Mindtech International Conference has put the finishing touch today to a full program of presentations that has brought together since Tuesday international experts on topics as relevant to the industry as automation, mobility of the future, internationalization and innovation.

Justo Sierra, President of Mindtech, declared that “this year, despite everything, we have continued to bet on the presence of Mindtech and the figures show that we have not been wrong. We have organized a fair that complies with all safety measures in close collaboration with the health authorities and we have seen that the sector really needed a showcase like this to boost its recovery after the impact of covid-19. Mindtech has been a meeting of high added value in which companies have been able to close important contracts and projects of interest that will undoubtedly mark the evolution and expected recovery in the coming months.”

“We would especially like to thank the unconditional support of all public institutions and, above all, of the companies that have bet on this second edition of the fair despite the harshness of these last months. Without them, the success of Mindtech would not have been possible”.

The President of the fair also added that “When a fair is organized by the sector itself, as in this case Asime, success is practically guaranteed, as we have seen”.

Enrique Mallón, General Manager of Mindtech, highlighted “We value extraordinarily the number of visitors and exhibitors, and above all the satisfaction they have shown us with the organization and with the quantity and quality of the contacts established thanks to the fair”.

Regarding the organization, Mindtech’s General Manager added “This fair has been the result of the work and illusion of everyone, and especially of the group of 28 professionals who have coordinated perfectly with Ifevi and all the collaborating entities. We are very pleased with the recognition in this sense from exhibitors and visitors, who have felt supported at all times by the organization”.
