The multinational automotive components company Benteler plans to start up the new factory it is building in Mos next July.
According to the company confirmed to the newspaper Atlántico, it is receiving numerous job applications for the nearly 200 jobs it will create and for this it has established partnerships with local professional schools and the University of Vigo in order to generate qualified employment.
The plant in the A Veigadaña industrial estate, with an investment of 20 million euros, will focus on welding, painting and laser cutting and will produce rear axle components for PSA Peugeot-Citroën vehicles.
This new facility will be a satellite plant of the one it already has in Vigo, in the Logistic Technology Park of Valladares, in which around 250 people work and which closed 2016 with a turnover of 77 million euros according to Axesor’s database.
The Benteler Group is present in 40 countries with 144 installations and 30,000 workers. Last year sales were close to 8,000 million euros.
