Eva is the founder and CEO of Lain Tech, a young company dedicated to the research, development and implementation of new electrochemical technologies in the raw materials and renewable energy sector. Eva holds a PhD in Biotechnology (specialising in Electrochemistry) from the University of Cambridge for her research on the generation of green electricity using biophotovoltaic solar panels, after having studied Biotechnology at Imperial College London. He has always been interested in science and mathematics, having won a silver medal in the Puig Adams mathematics competition and a bronze medal in the Physics Olympiad. Her mission is the development of green technologies, as a solution to the industrial challenges of the present, for a sustainable future. Currently, Eva has several patents that are in the process of development and commercialisation; the most advanced is the E-LIX technology, a sustainable method for obtaining metals at the mine site that replaces the function; after several pilot phases, Lain Tech is building the first industrial plant that will implement the E-LIX technology in the Riotinto mine.
