S4 Correduría de Seguros y Gestión de Riesgos is an independent private equity firm of Galician origin, with more than 20 years of history. What is the differential value of S4 in an event like Mindtech?
Our strategy is based on Risk Management: we identify, analyze and evaluate the risks to which a company is exposed in order to minimize them. We manage Property Damage Insurance; General, Professional and Directors’ and Officers’ Liability Insurance; Credit and Surety Insurance; Goods Transport Insurance; Corporate Social Welfare (Life, Health and Accidents); Fleet Insurance and Cyber Risk Insurance.
For years we have been working closely with the industrial sector, to which we also offer specialized departments that complement our business services:
- Audit and Engineering Services: i.e. prevention, protection, quality control, contingency plans and rescue means.

Why have you decided to be present again on Mindtech in its second edition?
S4 Correduría de Seguros y Gestión de Riesgos was present at Mindtech 2019, and after the success of this first edition, we have not hesitated to attend again as an exhibiting company. The main reasons are the great variety of exhibitors, coming from different sectors of the metal industry, as well as the quality of the visitors and the influx of public. All this made that first edition exceed all expectations.
This year, thanks to the positive evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope to repeat this success, contacting new potential clients and strengthening relations with those who already trust S4 to manage their insurance and risks.

What services will you be presenting at Mindtech 2021?
The last four months of the year are exciting for S4 and its team. We are working on a number of new products that will be launched in September. Thus, Mindtech 2021 will be the perfect framework to launch them and to personally explain to all professionals in the metal sector what new services they can find in S4 in relation to risk management.
Making a difference has been our motto in these more than 20 years of history, and it will continue to mark our path in the future.
What is the added value for your company when participating in this fair?
S4 Correduría de Seguros y Gestión de Riesgos is much more than a brokerage. We are specialists in companies, offering a personalized service based on an individualized risk analysis in order to offer tailor-made solutions. Being different is our added value.
We were the only company from the insurance sector present at Mindtech 2019. It is not surprising that Asime chose us to be the insurance company of the fair.
How are you facing the recovery in the new scenario imposed by COVID-19?
We are in a complicated moment, not only because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but also because of the change in the mobility model that is affecting the automobile sector, for example, or the rise in the price of steel. We cannot anticipate how this situation will evolve in the coming months, but what we can do from S4 is to continue helping companies in the face of possible risks arising from the crisis that has arisen. One example is our Credit and Surety department, which helps companies to protect themselves against possible non-payments. We want to show them what tools exist to minimize these risks in case they occur.
