Aníbal Metalmecánica Gallega, S.L. (AMG) is a Galician company specialising in the design and manufacture of high-precision metal components, mainly for the automotive sector, including shaped tubes, heat sinks and fluid connectors. Since its foundation, AMG has undergone a constant evolution to become an industrial benchmark in the northwest of the peninsula, thanks to a firm commitment to innovation, quality and internationalisation.
It has a fully automated, robotised and digitalised factory, a transformation project supported by public funds from the Xunta de Galicia and European Next Generation funds. This advanced infrastructure ensures complete traceability, extremely high process efficiency and globally competitive quality standards.
It currently exports more than 50% of its turnover – over 13 million euros a year – to markets such as the United States, Mexico, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Germany and China.
Why did you decide to go for Mindtech in its fourth edition in 2025?
Mindtech has established itself as one of the most relevant industrial fairs in the Iberian Pole, being a key meeting point for the most innovative players in the sector. For AMG, participating in this fourth edition represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen our visibility, generate new synergies and show the market the technological capabilities that differentiate us.
What is the added value for your company to participate in this fair?
Mindtech allows AMG to consolidate business relationships with existing customers and suppliers, while opening the door to new international contacts. It is also an ideal space for exchanging knowledge with other industry leaders, making our technological capabilities visible and reinforcing our position as a global supplier of high value-added components.
What will you be presenting at Mindtech 2025?
AMG will be presenting important technological product innovations at this year’s show:
- The new Superpower heat Sink, state-of-the-art heat sinks manufactured by high-precision skiving (alloying of fins from 0.1 mm thickness) in aluminium and copper, aimed at high thermal performance applications in automotive, electronics and electrification.
- New cold forming solutions for aluminium and stainless steel spigots (fluid connectors), which achieve machining tolerances and allow a significant reduction in material waste, improving efficiency.
What do you think is the differential value of the metallurgical industry and its associated technologies in the Iberian Pole in particular?
The metal industry in the Iberian Pole is characterised by a unique combination of technical know-how, export orientation and ability to adapt to new technological challenges. Its network of public-private partnerships, coupled with local talent and a strong industrial tradition, make it an ideal platform for the development of competitive and sustainable products on a global scale.
What challenges do you see facing the industry today?
Among the most relevant challenges we identify:
- The pressure to adapt industrial processes to sustainability and decarbonisation criteria.
- Complete digitisation of production processes, with integration of AI, traceability and data analysis.
- The globalisation of competition, which requires maintaining a differential value proposition.
- The need to guarantee technological and energy autonomy in an unstable geopolitical context.
What is needed to meet these challenges and maintain the industry’s competitiveness?
