ACP Materials S.L. is a Valencian company, based in Massalfassar, specialising in the supply and processing of technical materials for industry. In its supply division, the company works with aluminium, bronze, self-lubricating bushings and engineering plastics, offering a very wide variety of types and colours, ranging from stock items to made-to-measure cuts.

In the CNC machining and waterjet cutting section, they offer the manufacture of technical parts to drawing, working with complex geometries and strict tolerances for highly demanding sectors such as rail, automotive and advanced industry. They also have the capacity for precision machining of various technical materials, ensuring repeatability, traceability and dimensional control through quality assurance processes.

Overall, their approach combines technical expertise, compliance with specifications and specialist advice to meet the standards of both domestic and international clients.

Why did you decide to support Mindtech for its fifth edition in 2027?

We are committed to Mindtech 2027 because it provides a direct link to the metal industry and its associated technologies. Exhibiting at the event will enable us to raise our profile, strengthen our presence in the Iberian region and connect with companies that require materials, technical support and a responsive service.

What added value does taking part in this trade fair bring to your company?

The main added value is being close to industrial clients, engineering firms, machinists and production managers. Mindtech enables us to demonstrate our actual supply and processing capabilities, identify new market needs and open up opportunities for collaboration.

What new developments will you be presenting at Mindtech 2027?

Our aim is to showcase the new capabilities introduced as a result of our recent investment in technology and automation. We will place particular emphasis on the new 5-axis waterjet cutting system, process automation and the implementation of AI tools in management, which enable us to offer new services in a more agile and efficient manner, tailored to the needs of each client and project.

What do you think is the unique value of the metal industry and its associated technologies in the Iberian Cluster in particular?

The sector at the Iberian Hub combines industrial expertise, close ties between suppliers and manufacturers, technical capability and flexibility. Its unique selling point lies in its ability to respond swiftly to demanding projects, whether involving more standardised production runs or bespoke solutions, whilst maintaining high standards of quality and competitiveness.

What challenges do you think the industry is currently facing?

The main challenges currently facing the industry are pressure on costs and deadlines, the availability of materials, the need for qualified technical staff, the digitalisation of processes, and adapting to criteria relating to efficiency, traceability and sustainability.

What is needed to address these challenges and maintain the industry’s competitiveness?

From our perspective, it should be essential to invest in technology, technical training, smart stock management, quality and collaboration between companies. It will also be crucial to continuously improve processes, reduce response times and provide solutions that are more efficient, flexible and tailored to each customer.
