‘The Rösler Group has a global network of 15 offices and approximately 15 sales agents,’ says Commercial Director Héctor López Casado. Among them is Rösler International GmbH & Co. KG, its branch in Spain, located in the town of Rubí, very close to Barcelona.
‘At this location, our team of sales engineers advises and proposes the best technical solution for any challenge our customers face, while the after-sales team is responsible for keeping the equipment in optimal condition or updating it if it has already served a long life,’ adds López Casado.
Mindtech, a technical showcase
Rösler is one of the companies that participated in the fourth edition of Mindtech. They are exhibiting with a 24-square-metre stand. “In the north-western part of the peninsula, there are powerful companies that can benefit from our experience, and we want to have closer contact with them. It is a way of showing our interest in Galicia and northern Portugal,” explains the sales director about the reasons that led his company to participate in this leading trade fair in the sector.
He is also clear about the added value of Rösler’s presence at Mindtech 2025. “Our 80 years of experience in the surface treatment sector, applied in a wide variety of industries, such as automotive, shipbuilding, aeronautics, forging, foundry, etc., as well as the ability to develop both the necessary machinery and consumables in-house, is what allows us to offer the optimal solution to our customers’ needs,” he emphasises, pointing out that this can be either a simple, stand-alone machine or automated lines with interconnected machines.
Similarly, the company presented several new products at this fair, such as its successful S1, a machine for post-processing 3D parts, a carpet shot blasting machine and a circular vibrator.
López Casado is clear about the differential value of the metal industry and its associated technologies in the Iberian Pole. ‘It is a very intense and dynamic area, home to a variety of companies linked to the automotive industry, component manufacturing, shipyards, wind turbine reconditioning, etc.,’ he says.
Industry challenges
However, he is also aware of the challenges currently facing the industry. “The transition from combustion to electric vehicles is proving more complex than expected. The situation in Europe is not making it any easier either. Traditional export markets are experiencing a significant slowdown that is affecting our industry,” he says.
In this regard, he values flexibility in adapting to demand, the capacity for development to differentiate oneself, automation to increase productivity, as well as ‘having qualified, motivated staff who are committed to the company’.
