Seresco: leading software solutions for industry

21 de October de 2022

Seresco is a Spanish company specialising in technology solutions and digital transformation of companies and public organisations. Founded in 1969, it is the oldest 100% Spanish-owned company in the national IT sector. In 2021 it closed with a turnover of 31 million euros and, as part of its growth and expansion plan, it has announced its intention to be listed on BME Growth before the end of 2022.

Why have you decided to go for Mindtech in its third edition in 2023?

Seresco is in a period of national and international growth and expansion. Our growth plan is based on several important pillars, including inorganic growth, through the merger and acquisition of companies, or the imminent exit to BME Growth before the end of 2022. This plan is also based on an ongoing commitment to offer excellence and efficiency in technological solutions in each of our business areas.

On the other hand, we must not forget that Seresco is closely linked to Galicia and to our history as a company, as this year marks the 50th anniversary of our presence in the region. Galicia is the present and forms part of our roadmap for future growth.

What is the added value for your company when participating in this fair?

The two previous editions held have endorsed Mindtech as a benchmark trade fair for the industrial sector in the Iberian Pole, bringing together leading companies in the industrial sector and associated technologies, both nationally and internationally. Seresco has participated in both editions as an exhibitor and, on this occasion, we want to continue to bring our services and solutions to the industrial sector at a fair that has made every effort and has put all its resources into becoming a meeting point for the sector.

What novelties will you be presenting at Mindtech 2023?

Seresco’s objective is to bring digital transformation services to Galician companies in the industrial sector, our relationship with Sage through the commercialisation, implementation and provision of services of the ERP Sage X3 for industrial companies, as well as offering our industrial cybersecurity services and solutions, a key aspect in the digital transformation of companies.

How do you face the recovery/reactivation in the current context of lack of raw materials, rising costs of supplies and energy, etc.?

The rise in the cost of supplies and energy or raw materials is not an area that impacts us as much as it can in other sectors or industries. Our nature is technological, we are a company specialised in essential technological solutions and digital transformation of companies and public bodies.

What differential value do you think the metal industry and its associated technologies have in the Iberian Pole in particular?

The global pandemic of covid 19 together with the great innovation that has taken place, both in the metal sector and in other industries in recent years, has highlighted the need to have a good business network that can supply the necessary material to companies. The industrial sector, metal and its associated technologies represent more than 20% of Galicia’s GDP. An industry whose common denominator is differentiation and technological commitment and digitisation, making the industrial and metal sector one of the most innovative.
