We will explain how to reduce the complexity of robotic welding, simplifying the creation and execution of welding sequences, without the need for programming training and therefore reducing the barriers to automation for SMEs and first-time users.

Industry 4.0 is turning the page 10 years after its birth, we are moving towards the new 5.0 scenario, where sustainability, the operator in the centre and resilience will be its three principles. Based on a real case of the Galician automotive sector, we will show how MES systems play a crucial role in this change allowing workers to make better informed decisions.

Defining an industrial information systems architecture that avoids being locked into a single MES vendor and allows unrestricted access to data is crucial to unlocking the full potential of data integration in manufacturing. By integrating MES data with other data sources, manufacturers can gain a more complete and accurate view of their operations and make better data-driven decisions, resulting in more streamlined and flexible production processes that enable them to achieve operational excellence and remain highly competitive in the marketplace.

With the aim of supporting business growth in the metal sector, the public funds available for Galician companies are presented in an abbreviated form, from a multi-focused perspective: investment for the expansion of production capacity, diversification, digitalisation, internationalisation, job creation and entrepreneurship, R&D&I, financing, etc.

During the presentation, the storage, engineering and manufacturing of projects for Industry 4.0 will be addressed in a practical way, with special attention to autonomous intelligent video surveillance systems, motorisation, sensorisation and virtualisation systems for rafts. The transformable and autonomous Vtol Drone for surveillance, augmented virtual reality devices and innovative patented devices will also be on display.
