Why have you decided to support Mindtech in its third edition in 2023?

We are delighted to participate again in this third edition of Mindtech, supporting once again the local industry to make Galicia a reference point for the international metal industry. We are confident that Mindtech will consolidate its position as a centre of knowledge and the most relevant sectorial debate in the sector. It will be a fantastic opportunity to meet again and consolidate some contacts, as well as to open new markets.

What is the added value for your company when participating in this fair?

The fact that it is a fair that is organised by the sector itself is a great attraction and practically guarantees the success of the fair. After having overcome a pandemic, we find ourselves in a situation of uncertainty due to the escalation of prices, the scarcity of raw materials, rising energy prices, etc. All of this makes it more necessary than ever for the sector to come together and join forces, create synergies and boost the economy.

What novelties will you be presenting at Mindtech 2023?

We cannot yet reveal the specific innovations that we will be presenting at this new edition of Mindtech, but there will be a multitude of innovations for the most demanding solutions in the sector and adapted to the current challenges we face as a society, such as decarbonisation and electrification.

How do you face recovery/reactivation in the current context of lack of raw materials, rising costs of supplies and energy, etc.?

The truth is that we are facing a situation of uncertainty and we will have to closely monitor developments in the coming months. Our main task is to continue to help and attend to the needs of our customers as normal. In this sense, we are expanding our facilities in order to increase our stock and adapt our stock level to the needs of our customers in the short and medium term. As no one can predict what the situation will be like in Europe and the rest of the world in the coming months, it is essential that communication be as efficient as possible.

What differential value do you think the metal industry and its associated technologies have in the Iberian Pole in particular?

In the metal industry we are experts in adapting and constantly working to overcome adversity. Although Galicia was historically associated with the naval and automobile sectors, we can see how the industrial fabric has been introduced and specialised in the design and manufacture of machinery for different sectors such as fishing, food, stone, wood, etc. The Iberian Pole has a strong industrial fabric with a lot to offer.
